Little House On The Prairie All Growed Up
My thought, as I arrived on the street, in front of this instant classic. Where’s Laura and Ma and Pa. This is Little House On The Prairie once the farm has become part of American suburbia.
I really like the location of this home as well. It’s walking distance to one of the Boulder Community gardens sites. I noticed a couple out for a walk with their dog. Kids playing. This is a nice street with not too much through traffic because the road isn’t a direct route anywhere. Near the gardens, there is a sidewalk with a cyclist really hustling along the quiet trail.
This area of North Boulder is great. Easy access to some of the best shopping in Boulder. Spring time, you can watch the runners of the Bolder Boulder run/job/walk by down the street. Far enough from Pearl Street, but close enough you could bike it.
Little Things Add Up At 3060 17th St Boulder Co
From the moment I entered, I was enjoying this house. The central corridor felt just a little wider than most. The wood floors are amazing. Big front study with flat textured walls, lots of natural light and hidden cans to light up your work space. Walk down the hall, and the kitchen, nook and family room spaces are really inviting.
A big mudroom – with one of my favorite design features. Upstairs, the master suite feels a bit like a visit to Maui’s Four Seasons. Dreamy.
Nice yard, plenty of space for the kids/fur babies/grand kids to run about and play one day.
And so much natural light, I forget to turn on the lights until I snap a photo. Last touch, the entry area has a vaulted ceiling. I notice it, but not really until I see it from the 2nd floor landing. Beautiful family friendly home in the Silver Maple Village subdivision.
